Little Value Yesterday

Lie Forret turned out to be poor value at odds on yesterday as the race turned into a tactical affair and he was outpaced from two out to the last before staying on strongly after the last. Given how the race was run he will be of interest again possibly in big handicap chases later in the season where he will get a truly run race and his stamina can come into play. So one point dropped on the day.

With the cold snap still with us there will be no blog update now until Thursday at the earliest if Taunton survives.

  1. Kev,

I can see that the bad weather has played havoc with the race courses in the UK this winter. I have been quite fortunate here in New York for the mild winter at this point.

    Good luck!

  2. Jake,

Yes it has played havoc over the past 10 days with all National Hunt racing coming to a virtual standstill because of the frozen ground. There is hope for a resumption on Friday so fingers crossed.

Just been catching up on your blog and seem you had a really good day recently. Well done and your profits seem to be flowing in on a regular basis.

    Cheers,
    Kev
